October 3, 2022Haworth in northern Bergen County was the site of the Ultreya on May 6. Even though it was a dark and stormy night, that did not deter many loyal Cursillistas from attend-ing. Serving as Emcee was Greg Hol-den. Father Bob Wolfee, pastor of Sacred Heart gave the Opening and Closing Prayers.
The Lay reflection was given by hus-band and wife team Cora and Ed Koch. They shared how they met, and how integral Christ is in their relationship. Angie Girardin gave the Lay Reflection, while Deacon Mike Giuliano gave the spiritual reflection.
Music was provided by our faithful and talented Gordon Roehrer. Songs included were People of God, Take the Word of God with You, and a favorite, Prayer of St. Francis.
St. Paul in Ramsey hosted an Ultreya for the first time.
Witness was given by Annie Palladino. Lay response by Betsy Trum and Fr. John Gabriel gave the spiritual reflection.
